The People and Culture team play a key role in delivering the Firm’s business plan by attracting, developing and retaining key talent. The team is inclusive, friendly and hard working. They are driven to provide high-quality client service and work collaboratively with each other and across the firm. The team consists of 20 people including client facing generalist roles alongside specialist teams for Data and Systems, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Recruitment and Talent. The Talent and Development Team comprises a Head of Talent and Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Manager, and Talent Assistant. |
Analysing, designing, delivering and evaluating the firmwide professional skills development provision, as well as supporting individual teams to structure their own development offerings and providing 1-2-1 support where required. |
Specific duties:
- Responsibility for the creation, delivery (or management of suppliers delivering content where applicable), and continual improvement of the firm’s core L&D programmes
- Identifying and running development campaigns seasonally and in tandem with projects, driving improved skills and behaviours at critical moments for the firm and individuals
- Creating, sourcing, and curating a range of on demand content which meets existing and emerging needs
- Providing 1-2-1 support where required, ranging from full coaching engagements through to one-off discussions on specific topics such as the navigating the challenges of line management or how to approach a career transition
- Line management of the Talent Assistant
- Partnering with key stakeholders in practice areas and business support teams on an ongoing basis to help ensure they have appropriate development for their specific needs.
- Develop good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure you are a key point of contact for discussing development needs and they are engaged in the L&D offering
- Working closely with People & Culture Business Partners to identify and meet development needs in the teams they look after
- Supporting individuals and managers with the creation and implementation of personal development plans
- Promoting the training, learning and development offering through creative and impactful communications
- Manage spend to ensure development comes in on budget
- Ad hoc and relevant duties as and when required.
