The department

Our lawyers specialise in complex employment and partnership matters with high stakes. We explain the legal implications of employment and partnership issues clearly and concisely. Drawing on many years of experience, and our commercial and strategic expertise, we help our clients to resolve sensitive disputes creatively, and deliver results in line with their commercial or personal objectives.

Purpose of job

To assist the Employment Department with the efficient running of their practice.

Responsibilities

Duties to include:

  • Attendance at meetings and conference calls.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel and third parties.
  • Drafting of correspondence and legal documents.
  • Attendance at lectures, seminars and marketing events.
  • Assisting with research tasks.
  • Assisting fee earners with business development by preparing articles, blogs and t presentations.
  • Copying and preparation of bundles and papers for counsel both paper and electronic onesand collection/preparation of documents as required.
  • Collating bundles and document management. 
  • Administrative tasks such as filing and updating pleadings files.
  • Assisting with the billing process.
  • Ad hoc duties when required.
